Reviews on ticketing platforms in Europe

Before paying for a concert ticket online, the first question is simple: who am I dealing with? SeatFR examines the ticketing platforms one by one and draws up a clear profile. For each actor, we apply the same reading grid — nature of the platform (official ticketing or resale), trust signals, fees actually displayed before payment, security of payment and receipt of tickets. This page brings together all our opinions so that you can compare our analysis of each site before taking out your bank card, keeping in mind that the conditions specific to each event always take precedence.

How we evaluate a platform

Our reading grid is deliberately identical from one sheet to another, so that comparisons remain honest. We first look at the 'T0' trust signals 'T1': nature of the platform (official reseller or resale marketplace), security of payment, clarity of information displayed. We then look at the actual 'T2' fees 'T3': are they visible before the final payment, or added late? Then the receipt of the tickets: electronic format, nominative ticket, transferable or not, deadline announced. Finally, we clarify who each platform is for, because none is suitable for all situations.

The six benchmarks we check every time

  1. The exact nature of the platform: primary ticketing or resale between individuals.
  2. Payment security and accepted payment methods.
  3. Cost transparency: price, service fees and total visible before validation.
  4. Receipt of tickets: format, announced deadline, nominative ticket or not.
  5. Refund conditions and policy in the event of cancellation or postponement.
  6. The conditions specific to each event, which always take precedence over generalities.

Frequently asked questions

Does SeatFR sell tickets?
No. SeatFR is an independent editorial guide. We analyze ticketing platforms and explain what to check before buying, but we do not sell any tickets or intervene in the transaction.
How are grades awarded?
The ratings reflect our editorial reading based on an identical grid for all platforms: trust signals, transparency of fees, payment, receipt of tickets and conditions. They do not constitute a commercial classification and must be cross-referenced with the conditions specific to your event.
What is the difference between official ticketing and resale?
The official ticket office sells tickets at their original value on behalf of the organizer. Resale is a marketplace where individuals relist their tickets, often above face value. The two models do not offer the same guarantees: we indicate this on each sheet.
How often are these reviews updated?
We revise the sheets when platform practices evolve. The last update date appears at the top of each page. Always check the information displayed at the time of your purchase, as it may change.
